The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Union Y Progreso F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rosio Hermosilla came free, but Ali Vedat Çelikyay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seven Tempest FC's Billy Melander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeng Ting Xing in the 5th minute of play. Billy Melander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Meruendano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Vedat Çelikyay came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Seven Tempest FC's Jano Škarpa. But to his dismay, Jano Škarpa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Billy Melander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeng Ting Xing, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Union Y Progreso F.C.'s Zeng Ting Xing ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Billy Melander. Billy Melander yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Seven Tempest FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeng Ting Xing came free, but Billy Melander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Vedat Çelikyay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosio Hermosilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Vedat Çelikyay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rosio Hermosilla went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Billy Melander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeng Ting Xing in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Zeng Ting Xing cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Billy Melander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29thth minute of the game Zeng Ting Xing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seven Tempest FC's Billy Melander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the last second Billy Melander throw himself and got hold of the ball when Zeng Ting Xing in the 29thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 30 minutes into the match, Seven Tempest FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeng Ting Xing came free, but Billy Melander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Union Y Progreso F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zeng Ting Xing in the 31st minute. The corner ended in Zeng Ting Xing almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Seven Tempest FC's Billy Melander did a great save. Billy Melander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeng Ting Xing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Colin Talbot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the game, Santiago Meruendano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Billy Melander. Santiago Meruendano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. After 46 minutes, Venceslao Velilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seven Tempest FC and the Union Y Progreso F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Venceslao Velilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jano Škarpa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Seven Tempest FC booed when Union Y Progreso F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perez Candana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eleuterio Froylan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ali Vedat Çelikyay. Union Y Progreso F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ali Vedat Çelikyay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colin Talbot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Billy Melander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeng Ting Xing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Billy Melander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeng Ting Xing's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Meruendano in the 64th minute of play forced Seven Tempest FC's goalkeeper Billy Melander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeng Ting Xing scored 4-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Billy Melander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Seven Tempest FC's Teofilo Silvestre was substituted for Rosio Hermosilla. In the 90th minute, Seven Tempest FC's Jaunti Vidrio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ali Vedat Çelikyay. Ali Vedat Çelikyay yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Meruendano in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Billy Melander prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
