After a rather tough play, Alianza FC's Marin Ciprian got a free kick in the 16th minute. Reno Chavarria got a throw-in 21 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Long Jian Le. 23 minutes into the game, one of Alianza FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Moises Hernan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alianza FC's Leopoldo Ignado. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Domingues in the 28th minute of play forced ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goalkeeper Ermengol Baena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Bosch in the 31st minute of play forced Alianza FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Ignado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Ignado came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Franco Bosch. But to his dismay, Franco Bosch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Alianza FC's Reno Chavarria got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Leopoldo Ignado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Hernan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermengol Baena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orkatz Remolino, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes Alianza FC got a freekick which was hit by Marin Ciprian. The Alianza FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marin Ciprian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alianza FC's Leopoldo Ignado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Bosch in the 69th minute of play. Leopoldo Ignado stood somewhat misplaced when Franco Bosch came free in front of goal and shot 2-4 to the left of him in the 75 minute. César Domingues scored 3-4 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermengol Baena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leopoldo Ignado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Bosch, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Ermengol Baena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Ciprian in the 89th minute of play. Wasyl Dejo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Ignado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Bosch in the 92nd minute of the match. Leopoldo Ignado was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Franco Bosch capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Franco Bosch really showed his touch with that goal: 3-5.
