Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yaman Akar started the match with the kick off. GreenUnited's attentive Edward Chaniago managed to snatch the ball when Desiderio Miranda made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yaman Akar in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Vicente Basay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaime Rufo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Sebastián Torrico made a huge save. Sebastián Torrico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Rufo in the 7th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Rufo got free with Sebastián Torrico in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the match, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goal looked a bit too open when Yaman Akar came free, but Jorge Vicente Basay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GreenUnited's Yaman Akar managed to work through Club Deportes Santa Cruz's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Yaman Akar dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yaman Akar in the 14th minute of play forced Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goalkeeper Jorge Vicente Basay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes Club Deportes Santa Cruz's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ovidiu Şerbănescu who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on GreenUnited's corner Ovidiu Şerbănescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jorge Vicente Basay quite easily take care of the ball. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Jorge Vicente Basay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yaman Akar in the 20th minute of play. The GreenUnited fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when GreenUnited's Yaman Akar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Clemencín Varas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaime Rufo's late challenge caught a GreenUnited's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Rufo helped the player get up and apologised. Jaime Rufo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Edward Chaniago hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. GreenUnited's Max Stevens was substituted for Yaman Akar. GreenUnited made a substitution. Max Farr replaced Kılıçalp Özpulat.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roldán Botello to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Max Farr kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jorge Vicente Basay. That made the score 0-2 in the 58 minute of play. Max Stevens received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jorge Vicente Basay came out and tried to block the shot, but Max Stevens slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 64th minute. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Deportes Santa Cruz's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Michalis Kourtis was slow to take the kick. During this time GreenUnited's players had a chance to rest. Michalis Kourtis made a great header on GreenUnited's corner, it was just that Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Jorge Vicente Basay managed to reach the ball for a save. Jorge Vicente Basay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Max Farr in the 73rd minute. Jorge Vicente Basay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidiu Şerbănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Vicente Basay made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Max Farr sent off a good shot on target. Roldán Botello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastián Torrico having to make a save. Sebastián Torrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roldán Botello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Jorge Vicente Basay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportes Santa Cruz from getting a goal against them. Jorge Vicente Basay was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Ovidiu Şerbănescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ovidiu Şerbănescu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Jorge Vicente Basay made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Max Farr sent off a good shot on target. Luis Bale hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the match was over GreenUnited could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Deportes Santa Cruz throughout the match.
