The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sebastián Torrico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvar Ponce, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 9 minutes GreenUnited's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ivan Thompson who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Dănilă kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. When Edward Chaniago fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GreenUnited's protests and gave Edward Chaniago a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Club Atlético Lea Papá booed when GreenUnited was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Chaniago didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Club Atlético Lea Papá's Ivan Thompson in action when he in the 13th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Yaman Akar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Yaman Akar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Hong Qing made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, Anton Donose notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of GreenUnited's Sebastián Torrico. Sebastián Torrico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hong Qing made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Daniel Dănilă sent off a good shot on target. Yaman Akar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hong Qing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Yaman Akar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hong Qing having to make a save. Sebastián Torrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Marinelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Hong Qing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Chaniago in the 34th minute of play. Ivan Thompson hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Yaman Akar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hong Qing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, GreenUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Marinelli came free, but Sebastián Torrico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

GreenUnited made a substitution. Max Farr replaced Kılıçalp Özpulat. The wind increased when Max Stevens made the kick off in the second half. Hong Qing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Farr in the 59th minute of play. GreenUnited's Sebastián Torrico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save GreenUnited from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michal Jehlička in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastián Torrico saved GreenUnited from getting behind. GreenUnited's Sebastián Torrico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Donose in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Lea Papá's zone, Ovidiu Şerbănescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hong Qing came out of the goal and Ovidiu Şerbănescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, GreenUnited's goalkeeper Sebastián Torrico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anton Donose. GreenUnited's Sebastián Torrico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Marinelli in the 71st minute of play. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Hong Qing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Stevens in the 79th minute of play. Hong Qing came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by GreenUnited's Max Farr. But to his dismay, Max Farr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Club Atlético Lea Papá made a substitution. Nahuel Molina replaced Gao Chuan. 90 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Aldo-Pedro Poy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastián Torrico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Club Atlético Lea Papá's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
