Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Alfredo Aguilar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nelson Haedo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. A hard shot by Alessandro Nesta from long distance, 57 minutes into the match, got Alfredo Aguilar's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Esteban Dreer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson Haedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Noel Hägele could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Alfredo Aguilar made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Haedo in the 63rd minute of play forced GALACTICOS's goalkeeper Esteban Dreer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, Club Olimpia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raka Hadiman to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Aguilar made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Noel Hägele sent off a good shot on target. Esteban Dreer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 79 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's goalkeeper Alfredo Aguilar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elco Vid. In the 81st minute GALACTICOS were awarded a corner. Elco Vid went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led GALACTICOS's Elco Vid to fire away a dangerous shot which Alfredo Aguilar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Esteban Dreer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson Haedo in the 83rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Club Olimpia's Alfredo Aguilar got control of the ball when Noel Hägele tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elco Vid struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Alfredo Aguilar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GALACTICOS. 90 minutes into the game, Club Olimpia's Nelson Haedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. GALACTICOS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. GALACTICOS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
