Spectators: 186 (Terracing: 140, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Erasto Cobo kicked off to start the match. RAMBO FC's Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio de Andrade in the 8th minute of play. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Costa in the 12th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, RAMBO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio de Andrade came free, but Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Internacional's Geronimo Rulli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasto Cobo in the 18th minute of play. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laércio de Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Internacional were awarded a corner. Israel Aballe went to the cornerflag to take it. Internacional's Israel Aballe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laércio de Andrade went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Internacional's Geronimo Rulli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Internacional from getting a goal against them. Geronimo Rulli was a little too slow when Benvide Cercalde got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-2. Geronimo Rulli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasto Cobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute RAMBO FC were awarded a corner. Cheche Bellogin went to the cornerflag to take it. After some careless play in the RAMBO FC defense, Laércio de Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez. The RAMBO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd match minute, RAMBO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romano Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. Michael Laudrup kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Internacional were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evaristo Costa was the one to do the kick off. RAMBO FC's Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Costa in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute Laércio de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute Cheche Bellogin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Rulli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Internacional's Israel Aballe got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. RAMBO FC's Jacinto Lobado was substituted for Erasto Cobo. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Internacional's Evaristo Costa. But to his dismay, Evaristo Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Jacinto Lobado kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Internacional booed when RAMBO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Lobado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laércio de Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laércio de Andrade in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez saved RAMBO FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio de Andrade in the 78th minute of play forced RAMBO FC's goalkeeper Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo-Enrique Abeijon hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Tello Picado hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laércio de Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute of the match Abdelbassir Abubakar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaristo Costa got free with Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 97th minute, Internacional's Evaristo Costa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Internacional's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
