Henrique Taranco made in the 7th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Internacional's Marian Swoboda. The crowd rose to their feet as Laércio de Andrade kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Haitz Langarica. That made the score 1-1 in the 10 minute of play. Haitz Langarica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio de Andrade in the 18th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Atletico Aragua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio de Andrade came free, but Haitz Langarica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geronimo Rulli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauro Acebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Laércio de Andrade kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Haitz Langarica. That made the score 2-1 in the 35 minute of play. Bizi Faubelo struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Geronimo Rulli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Aragua FC. Lauro Acebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Geronimo Rulli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaspard Izquierdo to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Atletico Aragua FC got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Taranco. Haitz Langarica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio de Andrade in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58thth minute of the game Laércio de Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Aragua FC's Haitz Langarica was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laércio de Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haitz Langarica having to make a save. In the 60th minute Laércio de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haitz Langarica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haitz Langarica came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Internacional's Laércio de Andrade. But to his dismay, Laércio de Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Atletico Aragua FC made a substitution. Viviano Omente replaced Bizi Faubelo. In the 86th minute, Evaristo Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Internacional fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After 89 played minutes Internacional got a freekick which was hit by Sahnoyan Cakir. Atletico Aragua FC's Haitz Langarica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Costa in the 92nd minute of play. Evaristo Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haitz Langarica read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
