Banan Balle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Barragan, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Banan Balle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörn Svartengren in the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Inter de Guayaquil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gondian came free, but Sebastian Hellkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Jörn Svartengren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter de Guayaquil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörn Svartengren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Banan Balle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Inter de Guayaquil FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
