Johan Schönberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Diniz in the 4th minute of play. After 5 minutes Cusco FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dong Hui Yue who took care of the corner kick. Johan Schönberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Gallegos in the 7th minute of the match. Johan Schönberg came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo Águila's Ricky Koppens. But to his dismay, Ricky Koppens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Gallegos in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johan Schönberg saved Cusco FC from getting behind. 14 minutes into the game, Gabon Salantes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gustavo Guimarães. Gabon Salantes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Johan Schönberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricky Koppens in the 19th minute of play. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Águila's Gustavo Guimarães got control of the ball when Cresitobalo Rilo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's goal looked a bit too open when Elorri Uruñuela came free, but Gustavo Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cusco FC were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Club Deportivo Águila's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Zambrano took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Gabon Salantes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.
