Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Zambrano in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donat Collier in the 8th minute of play forced Cusco FC's goalkeeper Johan Schönberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurilio Duque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elorri Uruñuela in the 12th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Nova Soccer's Piero Quispe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Johan Schönberg. Johan Schönberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 27th minute Favila Villaren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Schönberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Favila Villaren spun around in front of the goal 27 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Cusco FC's goal. Maurilio Duque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabon Salantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Maurilio Duque had great luck who in the 54thth minute grab hold of the ball when Elorri Uruñuela from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Nova Soccer's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
