An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Basualdo in the 3rd minute of play forced Club Ibiza's goalkeeper Mero Portero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Club Ibiza's Bruno Fonso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Bruno Fonso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Hermann Hesse made a huge save. In the 14th minute, Bartolo Basualdo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hermann Hesse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Fonso in the 22nd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Damian Regulez in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Club Ibiza's Mariano Ireno. After 37 minutes Club Ibiza's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edward Kaczor who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Edward Kaczor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mero Portero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Bruno Fonso in the 40th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Hermann Hesse kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After 44 played minutes Deportivo Popolizio FBC got a freekick which was hit by Marc Stenberg. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Fonso made a kick off. Bruno Fonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hermann Hesse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Fonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mero Portero made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Bartolo Basualdo sent off a good shot on target. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Fonso in the 67th minute of play. If Ştefan Vornicescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Ibiza's Jaime Xavier was substituted for Ştefan Vornicescu. Mero Portero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joao Montanez in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute Joao Montanez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mero Portero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Ibiza's Mariano Ireno managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Damian Regulez in the 77 minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, Kazuo Koriotto notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse. Hermann Hesse was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 82 minutes into the match, Club Ibiza's goalkeeper Mero Portero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erruki Velarroa. After 83 minutes, Erruki Velarroa made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Club Ibiza's Mero Portero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Club Ibiza's Mariano Ireno quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Damian Regulez, made in the 88th minute of the game. Kazuo Koriotto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hermann Hesse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazuo Koriotto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91stth minute of the game Erruki Velarroa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Ibiza's Mero Portero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Club Ibiza's Mero Portero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erruki Velarroa in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute Erruki Velarroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mero Portero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Ibiza fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo Popolizio FBC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
