An unexpectedly hard shot by Erruki Velarroa in the 9th minute of play forced Acereros FC's goalkeeper Remigio Micael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Acereros FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Kaczor was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Popolizio FBC's players had a chance to rest. Nils Gielis made a great header on Deportivo Popolizio FBC's corner, it was just that Acereros FC's Remigio Micael managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pankracy Glozor got free with Hermann Hesse in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Remigio Micael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erruki Velarroa in the 25th minute of play. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Erruki Velarroa got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Erruki Velarroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 38 minutes into the match, Acereros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erruki Velarroa came free, but Remigio Micael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigio Micael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erruki Velarroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Acereros FC's zone, Erruki Velarroa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Micael came out of the goal and Erruki Velarroa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gogo Chuse might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hermann Hesse. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gogo Chuse ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Pankracy Glozor made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Erruki Velarroa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erruki Velarroa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Varban Dimanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Popolizio FBC made a substitution. Tibor Nyilasi replaced Nils Gielis. Stathis Stoltidis took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermann Hesse. Hermann Hesse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0.
