Siro Jolis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romo Cardarda in the 13th minute of play. Hasan Can Yerhum took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siro Jolis. Siro Jolis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Linterna verde's Siro Jolis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romo Cardarda in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Romo Cardarda made a precise shot to the right of Siro Jolis. Linterna verde's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Siro Jolis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hasan Can Yerhum's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 29th match minute, Mete y Raspa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julen Barahona to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Linterna verde's Ramirez Olazabala threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tirso Durango, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tirso Durango's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramirez Olazabala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Linterna verde were furious when Tomasz Nienajadlo was red carded, 35 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 35 minutes into the game, one of Linterna verde:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Siro Jolis went to the wrong direction when Julen Barahona was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Ramirez Olazabala made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tirso Durango in the 40th minute. Siro Jolis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romo Cardarda in the 42nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Romo Cardarda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mete y Raspa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romo Cardarda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Jolis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47thth minute of the game Hasan Can Yerhum who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Linterna verde's Siro Jolis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hasan Can Yerhum made a kick off. Romo Cardarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Jolis having to interfere. Romo Cardarda succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 54th playminute. If Jimeno Piquero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With his leg Siro Jolis managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Mete y Raspa FC's Hasan Can Yerhum fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Piquero in the 73rd minute of play forced Mete y Raspa FC's goalkeeper Ramirez Olazabala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Mete y Raspa FC's Manex Boliaga to fire away a dangerous shot which Siro Jolis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Mete y Raspa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Piquero came free, but Ramirez Olazabala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Piquero in the 89th minute of play forced Mete y Raspa FC's goalkeeper Ramirez Olazabala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mete y Raspa FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
