After 4 played minutes Paulo Fallabes rounded ALIANZA 1901's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Claudio Quiroga in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ruy Berger, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Apostol Sokolov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richie Ason in the 12th minute of the match. Ruy Berger was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Claudio Quiroga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Claudio Quiroga really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 16th minute Luis Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostol Sokolov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ALIANZA 1901's Ruy Berger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save ALIANZA 1901 from getting a goal against them. After 20 minutes of play, Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruy Berger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ruy Berger was a little too slow when Claudio Quiroga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 4-0. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind ALIANZA 1901's goalkeeper Ruy Berger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Apostol Sokolov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Escobar in the 29th minute of play. Claudio Quiroga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruy Berger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by ALIANZA 1901's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Modestio Cañucal was slow to take the kick. During this time Monitor Huáscar's players had a chance to rest. Monitor Huáscar's Modestio Cañucal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ruy Berger in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 40 minutes into the game, Claudio Quiroga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ruy Berger. Claudio Quiroga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Quiroga made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Fallabes in the 51st minute of play forced ALIANZA 1901's goalkeeper Ruy Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruy Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Fallabes in the 51st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ALIANZA 1901's Pancho Tabernilla got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Claudio Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ALIANZA 1901's Ruy Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Quiroga in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Orain Ambrosio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Monitor Huáscar's Jeffrey Van Craesbeeck quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 59 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Quiroga came free, but Ruy Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruy Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Quiroga, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Claudio Quiroga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ALIANZA 1901's Ruy Berger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st match minute, ALIANZA 1901 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orain Ambrosio to maneuver through the defense. Monitor Huáscar's Nazario Victorica was substituted for Nazario Arechavala. After a rather tough play, ALIANZA 1901's Orain Ambrosio got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Ruy Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Quiroga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes in the game Orain Ambrosio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alfredo Tomasini. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind ALIANZA 1901's goalkeeper Ruy Berger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Aulis Salomaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Monitor Huáscar's Apostol Sokolov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Monitor Huáscar from getting a goal against them. For all the effort they put into the match, the ALIANZA 1901 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Monitor Huáscar.
