When the match had been going on for 16 minutes, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Tomas Gustafson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Celso de Carvalho. After some careless play in the ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ defense, Zachariasz Psotka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Benavides. The ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Benavides should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Alfonso Ugarte's Celso de Carvalho got control of the ball when Martín Ulloa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan Benavides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Níels Nesta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonso Ugarte's Celso de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Alfonso Ugarte from getting a goal against them. The wind increased when Zachariasz Psotka made the kick off in the second half. Celso de Carvalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Escobar's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Patxi Deaguero charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Humberto Escobar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Celso de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Humberto Escobar took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celso de Carvalho. Celso de Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ made a substitution. Giancarlo Mora replaced Dari Mana. Alfonso Ugarte's Celso de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Escobar in the 73rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Humberto Escobar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celso de Carvalho was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Alfonso Ugarte's Bento Lebron was substituted for Honesto Idiaquez. After 81 played minutes, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Ivar Vabadus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Celso de Carvalho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ reached it. The corner ended in Mikolas Laredo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Juan Benavides did a great save. Alfonso Ugarte were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gabrio Barzana took the corner. In the 86th minute Totín De Leon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Totín De Leon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Alfonso Ugarte's Pierres Baz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Benavides made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ had played much better football throughout.
