Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Alfonso Ugarte's Zachariasz Psotka started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alfonso Ugarte's Celso de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Quiroga in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Fallabes in the 9th minute of play forced Alfonso Ugarte's goalkeeper Celso de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Monitor Huáscar were awarded a corner. Modestio Cañucal went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Monitor Huáscar's corner Modestio Cañucal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Celso de Carvalho quite easily take care of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celso de Carvalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14th minute of the match Monitor Huáscar got a corner. Alfonso Ugarte's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Modestio Cañucal ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Modestio Cañucal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Celso de Carvalho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Celso de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Quiroga in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Alfonso Ugarte's zone, Claudio Quiroga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso de Carvalho came out of the goal and Claudio Quiroga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Claudio Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 23 minutes into the match, Alfonso Ugarte's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Quiroga came free, but Celso de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Quiroga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Quiroga, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Monitor Huáscar were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Alfonso Ugarte's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Modestio Cañucal took the corner. Monitor Huáscar's Artemio Varas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Celso de Carvalho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 31st minute Zachariasz Psotka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostol Sokolov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Alfonso Ugarte getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Roland Treceño hit a great ball. Celso de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Quiroga in the 33rd minute of the match. Celso de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Quiroga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37thth minute of the game Claudio Quiroga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alfonso Ugarte's Celso de Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Celso de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Quiroga in the 39th minute of the match. Roland Treceño kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Claudio Quiroga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celso de Carvalho was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Claudio Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monitor Huáscar's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Quiroga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso de Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roland Treceño kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Celso de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Quiroga in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio Quiroga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Claudio Quiroga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Celso de Carvalho. The goal made the score 0-1. Claudio Quiroga took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celso de Carvalho. Celso de Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga suffered a sore thigh after 61 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gabrio Barzana's late challenge caught a Monitor Huáscar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabrio Barzana helped the player get up and apologised. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Nazario Victorica replaced Claudio Quiroga. If Bernardinho Bala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nazario Victorica received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Celso de Carvalho came out and tried to block the shot, but Nazario Victorica slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 72nd minute. Alfonso Ugarte made a substitution. Bento Lebron replaced Honesto Idiaquez. Bernardinho Bala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Celso de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nazario Victorica blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celso de Carvalho having to make a save. 81 minutes into the match, Alfonso Ugarte's goal looked a bit too open when Nazario Victorica came free, but Celso de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Alfonso Ugarte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto-Carlos da Silva to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Alfonso Ugarte's Gabrio Barzana got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Alfonso Ugarte's goal looked a bit too open when Nazario Victorica came free, but Celso de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Monitor Huáscar's Nazario Victorica nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso de Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. 94 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's Nazario Victorica sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celso de Carvalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Monitor Huáscar fans' excitement grew in the 99th match minute when Monitor Huáscar's Nazario Victorica looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Alfonso Ugarte supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Monitor Huáscar's performance. The match ended with a win for Monitor Huáscar.
