A collision led to Kalatakaya F.C. getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Eriberto Marques hit a great ball. Luis Galarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Gustafson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s zone, Aaron Gauargi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Benavides came out of the goal and Aaron Gauargi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Martín Ulloa came free, but Luis Galarza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th match minute, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zheko Kraychev to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martín Ulloa in the 15th minute of play forced Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Luis Galarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Benito Lluterio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Juan Benavides. Juan Benavides was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benito Lluterio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Benavides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Lluterio in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Tomas Gustafson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kalatakaya F.C.'s Eriberto Marques quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Benito Lluterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juan Benavides made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Benito Lluterio sent off a good shot on target. Luis Galarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Escobar in the 32nd minute of play. Kalatakaya F.C.'s Luis Galarza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martín Ulloa in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Juan Benavides, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Milosz Gabis in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Galarza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 40 minutes of play, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Benito Lluterio made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Benavides was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kalatakaya F.C. made a substitution. Recep Guftar replaced Aaron Gauargi. Benito Lluterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Juan Benavides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Recep Guftar in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Recep Guftar made a precise shot to the right of Juan Benavides. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 58 minutes into the match, Recep Guftar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Benavides. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Recep Guftar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 60th minute Humberto Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Galarza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Benavides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Recep Guftar in the 61st minute of play. After 63 minutes ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alejandro Chumacero who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Tomas Gustafson hit a great ball. When Kalatakaya F.C.'s Recep Guftar in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Luis Galarza successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 73rd minute Recep Guftar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Benavides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kalatakaya F.C. made a substitution. Moises Kelemen replaced Salomón Enríquez. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Escobar in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Galarza saved Kalatakaya F.C. from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Humberto Escobar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Galarza was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Tomas Gustafson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Galarza having to interfere. Luis Galarza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 88 minutes of play, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Benito Lluterio made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Benavides was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Benito Lluterio came free, but Juan Benavides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Galarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Escobar in the 93rd minute of play. Kalatakaya F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
