The supporters of Atlético de Caracas booed when LinuX F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elmer Lozano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elmer Lozano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Minor Godinez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zarando Calva was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. The LinuX F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Arias should have stopped the shot. The LinuX F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético de Caracas were winning 0-2.

Zarando Calva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elmer Lozano, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Bernardo Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Alley in the 59th minute of the match. After 64 minutes of play, LinuX F.C.'s Elmer Lozano made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zarando Calva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tom Wassenius had several of the LinuX F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Bernardo Arias as he didn't even see the shot coming. Atlético de Caracas's Wiktor Gaszynski was substituted for Carolo Faro. LinuX F.C. made a substitution. Jorge Padilla replaced Frank Soto. Nicolas Morales kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Nazmija Stojković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Atlético de Caracas's Bernardo Arias threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nazmija Stojković, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
