When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Huang Rong took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Orlando Rivera to make any attempt to save it. 22 minutes into the match, Todos al Fondo's goalkeeper Orlando Rivera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Huang Rong. Alex Sandóval hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Turgay Şeren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Gotzon in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Huang Rong made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yorrick Hekman in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orlando Rivera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Todos al Fondo's Orlando Rivera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elivélton Cunha in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Justino Gotzon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Todos al Fondo's Jacobo Fidele sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Turgay Şeren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute Elivélton Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Rivera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
