The supporters of ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ booed when Golden Generation was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Arnau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Golden Generation's attentive Lucjan Winnicki managed to snatch the ball when Kazimierz Rydzewski made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. Elmer von Platen kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Yorrick Hekman scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferdinand Johnson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guib Cortina got free with Turgay Şeren in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd match minute, Golden Generation was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yorrick Hekman to maneuver through the defense. Lucjan Winnicki's late challenge caught a ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucjan Winnicki helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Golden Generation's Lucjan Winnicki got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonides Pulido got free with Turgay Şeren in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juliusz Chmelyk's late challenge caught a ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juliusz Chmelyk helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes Golden Generation got a freekick which was hit by Juliusz Chmelyk.

Golden Generation made a substitution. Barnaba Ciborek replaced Huang Rong. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guib Cortina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guib Cortina in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Turgay Şeren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Golden Generation's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leonides Pulido was slow to take the kick. During this time ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Leonides Pulido to score against Turgay Şeren in Golden Generation's goal. 1-1 after 55 minutes. With an all-out effort, Golden Generation's Ferdinand Johnson threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Barnaba Ciborek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 74th match minute, Golden Generation was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yorrick Hekman to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Guib Cortina notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Golden Generation's Turgay Şeren. Turgay Şeren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ferdinand Johnson made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Barnaba Ciborek sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnaba Ciborek in the 92nd minute of play forced ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's goalkeeper Ferdinand Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ got a freekick which was hit by Glyn Smith. Leonides Pulido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Golden Generation players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ.
