Spectators: 206 (Terracing: 155, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Argoitz Abeijon managed to get in a good position for a shot. River CBBA's supporters rose to their feet, but Argoitz Abeijon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Rojas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute, Macho Madrigal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Barovero was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 16 minutes, Pablo Solari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River CBBA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Solari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Macho Madrigal hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Macho Madrigal in the 20th minute of play. Marcelo Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chucky Norris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chucky Norris, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Sergio Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Rojas having to interfere. Boğaçhan Akyel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Virgilio Rojas made a huge save. PUNTARENAS F.C's Virgilio Rojas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Batista in the 32nd minute of play. A hard shot 36 in the game by Argoitz Abeijon from a close distance when the talented Virgilio Rojas managed to make a qualified save. PUNTARENAS F.C's players were relieved. 38 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Gaueko came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgilio Rojas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argoitz Abeijon in the 39th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Argoitz Abeijon to strike the kick off in the second half. When Deng Xing Sang came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the River CBBA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deng Xing Sang couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute Macho Madrigal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58thth minute of the game Argoitz Abeijon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PUNTARENAS F.C's Virgilio Rojas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Gaueko in the 60th minute of play. Virgilio Rojas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Funes in the 67th minute of the match. In the 74th minute Argoitz Abeijon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Rojas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. River CBBA's Gilabert Bradi was substituted for Matías Almeida. River CBBA made a substitution. Ponciano Abarca replaced Juan Funes. River CBBA's Sergio Batista was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Virgilio Rojas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Virgilio Rojas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argoitz Abeijon in the 81st minute of the match. Virgilio Rojas came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by River CBBA's Argoitz Abeijon. But to his dismay, Argoitz Abeijon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. PUNTARENAS F.C made a substitution. Vinicio Medina replaced Julian Gaueko. In the 89th minute Ponciano Abarca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Rojas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boğaçhan Akyel in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Rojas saved PUNTARENAS F.C from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Ponciano Abarca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgilio Rojas was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. River CBBA's Argoitz Abeijon got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. River CBBA fully deserved thier win.
