They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Neycho Sergiev was the one to do the kick off. Botello Pinto came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Ortegano's Jan Koller. But to his dismay, Jan Koller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When Jan Koller came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Deportivo Ortegano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Koller couldn't finish the play. Korneliusz Rasimowicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Botello Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orland Uceda, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded FURIA MACHALEÑA S.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deportivo Ortegano.
