The audience was convinced that Rivaldo Sagel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zilar Presedo was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Endre Hegedűs was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Santo Giorgio's players had a chance to rest. Endre Hegedűs made a great header on FC Santo Giorgio's corner, it was just that San Marino Thm's Zilar Presedo managed to reach the ball for a save. After 43 minutes San Marino Thm's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Endre Hegedűs who took care of the corner kick. FC Santo Giorgio's Klement Bialakowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save FC Santo Giorgio from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jader Duran was the one to do the kick off. Klement Bialakowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jader Duran's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. San Marino Thm's Zilar Presedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Endre Hegedűs in the 52nd minute of play. Zilar Presedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rivaldo Sagel in the 54th minute of play. San Marino Thm's Jhon Arias was substituted for Olavo Eger. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Rivaldo Sagel managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Santo Giorgio's supporters rose to their feet, but Rivaldo Sagel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zilar Presedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rivaldo Sagel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Zilar Presedo made a huge save. 66 minutes into the match, FC Santo Giorgio's goal looked a bit too open when Jader Duran came free, but Klement Bialakowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Rivaldo Sagel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zilar Presedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of San Marino Thm booed when FC Santo Giorgio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Castillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jhon Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
