In the 13thth minute of the game Bento Chandeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Santo Giorgio's Chico Vass was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Bento Chandeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chico Vass was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zico Zidane in the 14th minute of play forced Aioros FC's goalkeeper Beat Vid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Santo Giorgio were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Aioros FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Endre Hegedűs took the corner. The corner led FC Santo Giorgio's Endre Hegedűs to fire away a dangerous shot which Beat Vid despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A throw-in in the 37th minute of the game was made by Sebastián de la Rosa with Rivaldo Sagel as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Chico Vass stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bento Chandeiro's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Aioros FC's Beat Vid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Calderón in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bento Chandeiro to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Bento Chandeiro made a precise shot to the right of Chico Vass. FC Santo Giorgio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 55 minutes into the game, Sebastián de la Rosa threw the ball into play from the sideline. Beat Vid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, FC Santo Giorgio's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Chandeiro came free, but Chico Vass reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Edgardo Calderón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beat Vid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aioros FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Endre Hegedűs was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Santo Giorgio's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Rivaldo Sagel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Aioros FC's Beat Vid did a great save. Aioros FC made a substitution. Wang Qi Chang replaced Gilbert Alströmmer. FC Santo Giorgio's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Endre Hegedűs in the 72nd minute. FC Santo Giorgio made a substitution. Alex Garrido replaced Zico Zidane. Chico Vass showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bento Chandeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Bento Chandeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Vass having to interfere. FC Santo Giorgio's David Herbruger was substituted for Cesare Pirlo.
