When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusebio Beltran was the one to do the kick off. Virgilio Txindoki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Macias's late challenge caught a San Pablo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Macias helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gurbax Gascon in the 54th minute of play forced Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Alexandros Ismael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andy Hauser made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Jacinto Galeno sent off a good shot on target. The Águilas Poblanas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
