Olo Uriarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alkinoos Margaritas, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alkinoos Margaritas in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olo Uriarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alkinoos Margaritas in the 17th minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Olo Uriarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olo Uriarte came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by AJ Juventus FC's Alkinoos Margaritas. But to his dismay, Alkinoos Margaritas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. AJ Juventus FC's Mambru Puertas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save AJ Juventus FC from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Alkinoos Margaritas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olo Uriarte. Caaguazu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alkinoos Margaritas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miliano Roza got free with Mambru Puertas in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miliano Roza came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mambru Puertas could save by the left post. In the 34th match minute, AJ Juventus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benja Villaraud to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alkinoos Margaritas in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olo Uriarte saved Caaguazu from getting behind. Alkinoos Margaritas spun around in front of the goal 38 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Caaguazu's goal. When Jorge Torcida fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caaguazu's protests and gave Jorge Torcida a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Jorge Torcida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 minutes, Alkinoos Margaritas made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Caaguazu's Olo Uriarte tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Torcida to make the kick off. A collision led to Caaguazu getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Juango Camposa hit a great ball. When AJ Juventus FC's Alkinoos Margaritas in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caaguazu's goalie prevented a goal. Caaguazu made a substitution. Blai Arismendi replaced Frederico Freijo. AJ Juventus FC's Vinny Speed was substituted for Leoncio Abarzua. Caaguazu's Mauro Bocaran was substituted for Gabriel Labiada. AJ Juventus FC's Duško Zambata was substituted for Alkinoos Margaritas. Vinny Speed blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olo Uriarte having to make a save. Duško Zambata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caaguazu's Malvin Vidaurre was substituted for Bartolome Moracia. With an all-out effort, AJ Juventus FC's Olo Uriarte threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Duško Zambata, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 85 minutes, Duško Zambata made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. Caaguazu's Olo Uriarte tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Duško Zambata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olo Uriarte having to make a save. In the 89th minute of the match, Duško Zambata tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Olo Uriarte saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duško Zambata in the 91st minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Olo Uriarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mambru Puertas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malvin Vidaurre in the 95th minute of play.
