Máximo Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pan Lin Zhen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máximo Correia having to interfere. CRUZ DEL SUR's Lorencio Irarrázaval quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ramón Arias, made in the 11th minute of the game. Pan Lin Zhen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Máximo Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pan Lin Zhen in the 14th minute of the match. Pan Lin Zhen might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Máximo Correia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaias Jakue got free with Zachariasz Dudkowski in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zachariasz Dudkowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isaias Jakue showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 18 minute of play. Pablo Soto made in the 26th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sporting Buceo's Rainier Gregoire. 29 minutes into the game, Sporting Buceo's Isaias Jakue nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zachariasz Dudkowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Bautista Marcó succeeded in the game's 39th minute to get real power on a long shot . Sporting Buceo's Máximo Correia hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-2! In the 43rd minute, Pan Lin Zhen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Máximo Correia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pan Lin Zhen made a kick off. Zachariasz Dudkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xuan Casillas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pan Lin Zhen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Máximo Correia made a huge save. A collision led to Sporting Buceo getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Juan Sartori hit a great ball. CRUZ DEL SUR made a substitution. Augusto Estefan replaced Pan Lin Zhen. Sporting Buceo's Máximo Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Estefan in the 73rd minute of play. Máximo Correia made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Fabio Zorondo sent off a good shot on target.
