Okanalp Çağman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bornova's Sonny Alén proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Bornova from getting a goal against them. Bornova's Sonny Alén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doğuhan Serbülend in the 22nd minute of play. In the 29th minute Fernando Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Okanalp Çağman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Kamil Momodu made a precise shot to the right of Okanalp Çağman. Fear Of The Dark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Gorosti in the 39th minute of play forced Fear Of The Dark's goalkeeper Okanalp Çağman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Fear Of The Dark's attentive Xavier Pestana managed to snatch the ball when Çağlar Acabey made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. 62 minutes into the match, Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Önder Ünlü came free, but Sonny Alén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xavier Pestana was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Fear Of The Dark's Güngör İşkembeci was substituted for Ignat Mankov. In the 69th minute, Ahmet Nafiz Özilter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bornova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 71st minute, Bornova's 严桦泉 seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed 严桦泉 the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bornova protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and 严桦泉 had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 严桦泉 hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Sonny Alén made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3.
