He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. POZANTI SPOR's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 7 minutes in the game Juan-Carlos Franques did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Yusuf Salah. Okanalp Çağman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mattias Claudinger in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Çelikan Unan got free with Okanalp Çağman in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan-Carlos Franques made in the 13th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Yusuf Salah immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doğuhan Serbülend in the 19th minute of play forced POZANTI SPOR's goalkeeper Xove Tijerina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Battal Cüneyt Malgır hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, Fear Of The Dark's Doğuhan Serbülend nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xove Tijerina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 26 minutes into the game, Yusuf Salah threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fear Of The Dark's Xavier Pestana quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Xove Tijerina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doğuhan Serbülend in the 28th minute of the match. The throw-in from Juan-Carlos Franques in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fear Of The Dark's Şükrü Mehmet. 32 minutes into the game, Fear Of The Dark's Doğuhan Serbülend nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xove Tijerina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After some careless play in the POZANTI SPOR defense, Doğuhan Serbülend kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xove Tijerina. The POZANTI SPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xove Tijerina should have stopped the shot. After 42 played minutes Fear Of The Dark got a freekick which was hit by Ignat Mankov. Okanalp Çağman acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Çelikan Unan. In the 46th minute, Doğuhan Serbülend made a precise shot to the right of Xove Tijerina. POZANTI SPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doğuhan Serbülend stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Doğuhan Serbülend sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Okanalp Çağman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Claudinger in the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Fear Of The Dark's Doğuhan Serbülend sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xove Tijerina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Doğuhan Serbülend blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xove Tijerina having to make a save. Despite this Xove Tijerina quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Fear Of The Dark supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fear Of The Dark would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
