A sloppy throw-in by Peker Arıkan in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Trabzonspor's İsmet Yalçıner. In the 17th minute, Omero Cobain left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FCFiratRom fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Trabzonspor getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Utku İnegöllü hit a great ball. Yunus Civan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omero Cobain in the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Trabzonspor's Ataman Kutun got a free kick in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omero Cobain in the 31st minute of play forced Trabzonspor's goalkeeper Yunus Civan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th match minute, FCFiratRom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Holse to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FCFiratRom's zone, Agah Özver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ejder Baba came out of the goal and Agah Özver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agah Özver's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ejder Baba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Nevzad Gulson kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. A collision led to Trabzonspor getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Aybar Gürçınar hit a great ball. FCFiratRom made a substitution. Nino Marcelli replaced Eleuterio Ezkerra. The supporters of FCFiratRom booed when Trabzonspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aybar Gürçınar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Trabzonspor's zone, Carlo Holse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yunus Civan came out of the goal and Carlo Holse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Peker Arıkan made in the 56th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Omero Cobain. 64 minutes into the match, FCFiratRom's goal looked a bit too open when Ataman Kutun came free, but Ejder Baba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agah Özver might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ejder Baba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agah Özver ran back to his position shaking his head. Trabzonspor made a substitution. Vacid Oğuzata replaced Lucio Claus. In the 71st minute of the match FCFiratRom got a corner. Trabzonspor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlo Holse ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Trabzonspor's goalie and right to Jan-Olof Svartengren. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Trabzonspor's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ejder Baba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duran Ersan in the 76th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Duran Ersan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ejder Baba. FCFiratRom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Duran Ersan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. FCFiratRom made a substitution. Oso Bucuk replaced Omero Cobain. Ejder Baba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duran Ersan, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute. Trabzonspor walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
