Aybars Demirci kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Damião came free, but Joar Scheie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hayrullah İrfanoğlu made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Sven-Olof Vestlund sent off a good shot on target. Hayrullah İrfanoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birkan Kayra in the 25th minute of play. If Sven-Olof Vestlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Carno FK's Hayrullah İrfanoğlu got control of the ball when Sven-Olof Vestlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Damião in the 35th minute of play forced CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Joar Scheie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
