Ercole Carnevale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grzegorz Grzelak in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Téo Soares saved Spadarolo from getting behind. In the 12th minute, Seppe De Muijser ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ercole Carnevale was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience was convinced that Seppe De Muijser's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ercole Carnevale was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Chale got free with Téo Soares in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Conrad Wy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercole Carnevale having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Conrad Wy notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Santoryu FC's Ercole Carnevale. Ercole Carnevale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Chale was the one to do the kick off. After 70 minutes, Conrad Wy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spadarolo and the Santoryu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Grzegorz Grzelak struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Téo Soares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santoryu FC.
