Despite this Stein Spoelberch quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 8 minutes into the match, Club Brugge's goal looked a bit too open when Güralp Ergüleç came free, but Stein Spoelberch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şevket Çağa struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Tony Vanbuyten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Brugge. Brent Nelleboedske's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tony Vanbuyten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Güralp Ergüleç who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Brugge's Stein Spoelberch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stein Spoelberch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Tony Vanbuyten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieter Van Landewijck in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Güralp Ergüleç in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stein Spoelberch saved Club Brugge from getting behind. Stein Spoelberch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Jacinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Vanbuyten made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Şevket Çağa sent off a good shot on target. Ye Yang Ao kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Tony Vanbuyten came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Brugge's 孔磊傲. But to his dismay, 孔磊傲 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 64 minutes of play, Portus Ganda's Güralp Ergüleç made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stein Spoelberch was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Güralp Ergüleç in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Jacinto in the 87th minute of play forced Club Brugge's goalkeeper Stein Spoelberch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
