A collision led to Westenenk getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Wieslaw Posadzki hit a great ball. Alberth Gosmann took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teo De Jonge. Teo De Jonge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Teo De Jonge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberth Gosmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Teo De Jonge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberth Gosmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthy Algoedt hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. KFC Vliegplein's Teo De Jonge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valio Tammisto in the 20th minute of play. Westenenk's Jaap van der Schans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Westenenk from getting a goal against them. If Paul-Louis Jannes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 minutes of play, Westenenk's Valio Tammisto made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teo De Jonge was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teo De Jonge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valio Tammisto in the 29th minute of the match. When Westenenk's Valio Tammisto in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KFC Vliegplein's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Valio Tammisto sped through KFC Vliegplein's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teo De Jonge. In the 32nd minute, Wieslaw Posadzki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teo De Jonge was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 35 minutes into the game, Westenenk's Wieslaw Posadzki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teo De Jonge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Jaap van der Schans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddy Laporte, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Westenenk's Peder Nyqvist got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute, Endel Darmer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

After 53 played minutes KFC Vliegplein got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Clijsters. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Valio Tammisto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Westenenk's supporters rose to their feet, but Valio Tammisto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo De Jonge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the match, KFC Vliegplein's goalkeeper Teo De Jonge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wieslaw Posadzki. Jaap van der Schans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy Laporte in the 58th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Ferdinand Weijnants put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Jaap van der Schans. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wieslaw Posadzki got free with Teo De Jonge in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddy Laporte in the 68th minute of play forced Westenenk's goalkeeper Jaap van der Schans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute Eddy Laporte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaap van der Schans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddy Laporte in the 72nd minute of play forced Westenenk's goalkeeper Jaap van der Schans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Weijnants had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaap van der Schans. Westenenk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdinand Weijnants was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. KFC Vliegplein's Teo De Jonge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valio Tammisto in the 84th minute of play. Teo De Jonge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valio Tammisto's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Miguel Clijsters took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaap van der Schans. Jaap van der Schans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. 88 minutes into the game, one of KFC Vliegplein:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Teo De Jonge had in the 90thth minute some difficulties stopping Gervasio Lauaxeta's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Westenenk's goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Laporte came free, but Jaap van der Schans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Peder Nyqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The KFC Vliegplein supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Westenenk's performance. The match ended with a win for Westenenk.
