Dmytro Zhak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freek Som, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14thth minute of the game Hector Pello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Philadelphia Union FC's Dmytro Zhak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Yuan Xing in the 15th minute of play forced Philadelphia Union FC's goalkeeper Dmytro Zhak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Zhao Yuan Xing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dmytro Zhak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miltos Mouratidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Harry Mik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Philadelphia Union FC's Stefan Gustavsson got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute Freek Som shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dmytro Zhak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 played minutes Philadelphia Union FC got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Gustavsson. In the 30th minute, Hector Pello made a precise shot to the right of Dmytro Zhak. Philadelphia Union FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 33 minutes of play, Leiden Spor Kulubu's Hector Pello made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dmytro Zhak was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the match, Philadelphia Union FC's goal looked a bit too open when Freek Som came free, but Dmytro Zhak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If 石渊文 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Philadelphia Union FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Stefan Gustavsson hit a great ball. In the 46th minute of the match Hector Pello sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dmytro Zhak skillfully saved the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, Philadelphia Union FC's Dmytro Zhak got control of the ball when Freek Som tried to sneak it across the goal line. Freek Som did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Dmytro Zhak 79 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Myroslav Zanevskyi made a precise shot to the right of Harry Mik. Leiden Spor Kulubu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Dmytro Zhak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Yuan Xing in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Zhao Yuan Xing notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Philadelphia Union FC's Dmytro Zhak. Dmytro Zhak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Freek Som received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute.
