Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Zbigniew Paraszczuk started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, VN FC Spartak-Varna's goal looked a bit too open when Toon Teunens came free, but Hans Curtis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in VN FC Spartak-Varna's zone, Toon Teunens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Curtis came out of the goal and Toon Teunens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. VN FC Spartak-Varna's Hans Curtis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toon Teunens in the 6th minute of play. Toon Teunens hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Ulan Bator Football Club's Ball Packert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Ulan Bator Football Club from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Mattheo Smeulders managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ulan Bator Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattheo Smeulders was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans Curtis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 played minutes VN FC Spartak-Varna got a freekick which was hit by Olivier Giroud. After a defensive mix-up in VN FC Spartak-Varna's zone, Ndingi Mwana'a Tchokhonelidze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Curtis came out of the goal and Ndingi Mwana'a Tchokhonelidze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hans Curtis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toon Teunens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ulan Bator Football Club's Kieth Hacke got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute, Peter Boklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mattheo Smeulders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Curtis having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toon Teunens in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans Curtis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute Toon Teunens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Curtis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulan Bator Football Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ndingi Mwana'a Tchokhonelidze in the 35th minute. After taking down the ball on Ulan Bator Football Club's corner Jarno Depelsmaker fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hans Curtis quite easily take care of the ball. Hans Curtis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toon Teunens's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Ulan Bator Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Valentin came free, but Ball Packert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toon Teunens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Curtis having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Danny Valentin scored 1-0 in the 50th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ball Packert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Danny Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Felix Gysemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, VN FC Spartak-Varna's Yancho Motev tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ulan Bator Football Club's Toon Teunens was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hans Curtis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 64th minute, Jan-Pieter Van Cauwenbergh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ulan Bator Football Club's Toon Teunens in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VN FC Spartak-Varna's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Toon Teunens sped through VN FC Spartak-Varna's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hans Curtis. In the 70th minute Danny Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ball Packert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, VN FC Spartak-Varna's goal looked a bit too open when Toon Teunens came free, but Hans Curtis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans Curtis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toon Teunens in the 71st minute of play. Ulan Bator Football Club were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after VN FC Spartak-Varna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ndingi Mwana'a Tchokhonelidze took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Yelle Capelle got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hans Curtis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toon Teunens in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans Curtis saved VN FC Spartak-Varna from getting behind. In the last second Hans Curtis throw himself and got hold of the ball when Toon Teunens in the 81stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 81stth minute of the game Toon Teunens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VN FC Spartak-Varna's Hans Curtis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ulan Bator Football Club made a substitution. Stephan Spoelberghe replaced Dany-Adams Van Deyck. Ulan Bator Football Club's Ros Vos de Vos was substituted for Toon Teunens. Zbigniew Paraszczuk hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Hans Curtis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ros Vos de Vos in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match Ulan Bator Football Club got a corner. VN FC Spartak-Varna's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ndingi Mwana'a Tchokhonelidze ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hans Curtis made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Ros Vos de Vos sent off a good shot on target. After 96 minutes, Ros Vos de Vos made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. VN FC Spartak-Varna's Hans Curtis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The VN FC Spartak-Varna supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ulan Bator Football Club's performance. The match ended with a win for Ulan Bator Football Club.
