Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fulgencio Berdoi in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ben Dillemans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Štefan Semeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnauld Van Eycke, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Villarreal FK's goal looked a bit too open when Arnauld Van Eycke came free, but Štefan Semeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fulgencio Berdoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ben Dillemans was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Winksele 2016 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Villarreal FK.
