Joonatan De Vlaeminck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabio Di Giambattista went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 34 minutes into the match, Villarreal FK's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Oper came free, but Štefan Semeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Villarreal FK's Štefan Semeno got control of the ball when Andres Oper tried to sneak it across the goal line. Štefan Semeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Ordono in the 46th minute of the match. Andres Oper struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Štefan Semeno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sleepy Soldiers FC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andres Oper made a kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Andres Oper who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villarreal FK's Štefan Semeno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joonatan De Vlaeminck made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Fulgencio Berdoi sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute Andres Oper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Štefan Semeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 minutes of play, Sleepy Soldiers FC's Andres Oper made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Štefan Semeno was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Andres Oper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Štefan Semeno was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Joonatan De Vlaeminck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Di Giambattista in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sleepy Soldiers FC's Octavio Ordono got a free kick in the 66th minute. With an all-out effort, Villarreal FK's Joonatan De Vlaeminck threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fabio Di Giambattista, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Andres Oper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Štefan Semeno was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Andres Oper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sleepy Soldiers FC's zone, Fabio Di Giambattista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joonatan De Vlaeminck came out of the goal and Fabio Di Giambattista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
