Teodoro Gonsalve recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Minion Mim's Mitch Lauwers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brent-Jan Turpin in the 8th minute of play. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Joonatan Van Landewijck sped through ФК Фанагория's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Diamantino Nunes. Mitch Lauwers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hristiyan Tochev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hristiyan Tochev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by ФК Фанагория's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jasper Rosario was slow to take the kick. During this time Minion Mim's players had a chance to rest. ФК Фанагория's Diamantino Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joonatan Van Landewijck in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Brent-Jan Turpin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mitch Lauwers was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Mitch Lauwers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hristiyan Tochev in the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joonatan Van Landewijck got free with Diamantino Nunes in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Joonatan Van Landewijck put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Diamantino Nunes. Mitch Lauwers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brent-Jan Turpin, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 50th minute Brent-Jan Turpin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mitch Lauwers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, ФК Фанагория's Mitch Lauwers threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Allan Winship, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 54th minute of the match ФК Фанагория got a corner. Minion Mim's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alberto Pelliccioni ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led ФК Фанагория's Alberto Pelliccioni to fire away a dangerous shot which Mitch Lauwers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Joonatan Van Landewijck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diamantino Nunes was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. A hard shot by Alberto Pelliccioni from long distance, 57 minutes into the match, got Mitch Lauwers's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Mitch Lauwers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brent-Jan Turpin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 minutes of play, ФК Фанагория's Allan Winship made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mitch Lauwers was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 66 in the game by Brent-Jan Turpin from a close distance when the talented Mitch Lauwers managed to make a qualified save. Minion Mim's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Brent-Jan Turpin managed to get in a good position for a shot. ФК Фанагория's supporters rose to their feet, but Brent-Jan Turpin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mitch Lauwers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, Minion Mim's goal looked a bit too open when Brent-Jan Turpin came free, but Mitch Lauwers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Oleg Borgovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the game, Brent-Jan Turpin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mitch Lauwers. Brent-Jan Turpin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Will Wipp in the 89th minute of play forced ФК Фанагория's goalkeeper Diamantino Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Hristiyan Tochev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ФК Фанагория walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
