If Taco Scholte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taco Scholte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Oldenborger having to interfere. Erwin Teesing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibau De Jaeger in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domenik Hoffhuis got free with Erwin Teesing in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Tibau De Jaeger came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the MK Investments fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tibau De Jaeger couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, ASC South United's Andreas Tamminga got a free kick in the 24th minute. Erwin Teesing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waclaw Poremba in the 25th minute of play. ASC South United's Erwin Teesing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save ASC South United from getting a goal against them. When MK Investments's Pascal Bults in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 41st match minute, ASC South United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf van der Saar to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, ASC South United's goalkeeper Erwin Teesing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domenik Hoffhuis. The supporters of ASC South United booed when MK Investments was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorn Pilage didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Waclaw Poremba made a kick off. Erwin Teesing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waclaw Poremba's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Erwin Teesing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenik Hoffhuis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind ASC South United's goalkeeper Erwin Teesing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. MK Investments's Waclaw Poremba got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58thth minute of the game Waclaw Poremba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ASC South United's Erwin Teesing was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute Domenik Hoffhuis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Teesing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of MK Investments booed when ASC South United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 74th minute Domenik Hoffhuis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Teesing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taco Scholte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waclaw Poremba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erwin Teesing having to make a save. Andreas Tamminga hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Waclaw Poremba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erwin Teesing was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Erwin Teesing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibau De Jaeger in the 96th minute of play. Despite being the better team, MK Investments failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
