In the 29th minute of the match Lokomotiv Plovdiv got a corner. Zijdewind SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jiang Bing Yi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Zijdewind SC's goalie and right to Biser Tenov. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Zijdewind SC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 31 minutes in the game Gerard Kok did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gert Kroeze. Facundo Nazario might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henry Lembeck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Facundo Nazario ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Facundo Nazario in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henry Lembeck saved Zijdewind SC from getting behind. After 35 played minutes Zijdewind SC got a freekick which was hit by Gerard Kok. The crowd rose to their feet as Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Facundo Nazario slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henry Lembeck. That made the score 3-0 after 36 minutes of play. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Facundo Nazario got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jiang Bing Yi was slow to take the kick. During this time Lokomotiv Plovdiv's players had a chance to rest.
