In the 9thth minute of the game Henk Wouters who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Botev Plovdiv 1912's Christian Bale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th minute Geetsvondel² were awarded a corner. Brend Van der Goten went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 12th minute, Dominguez Codony got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herald Wouqier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Di Kun in the 17th minute of play. When Henk Wouters, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 19 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Christian Bale was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Di Kun in the 21st minute of play forced Geetsvondel²'s goalkeeper Herald Wouqier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Matthy Reniers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geetsvondel²'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthy Reniers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Henk Wouters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Bale was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Moises Blasi scored 1-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herald Wouqier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christian Bale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthy Reniers in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Botev Plovdiv 1912 booed when Geetsvondel² was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charl de Koninck didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Blasi to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Botev Plovdiv 1912's Di Kun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herald Wouqier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Toni Tagarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herald Wouqier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Blasi in the 61st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Blasi in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herald Wouqier saved Geetsvondel² from getting behind. In the last second Christian Bale throw himself and got hold of the ball when Henk Wouters in the 63rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Kent Coppens hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th match minute, Geetsvondel² was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Coppens to maneuver through the defense. Hannes Steenbecks hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, Paul Romeo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Herald Wouqier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 78 played minutes Geetsvondel² got a freekick which was hit by Arne Roekeloos. A collision led to Botev Plovdiv 1912 getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Benigno Bingen hit a great ball. With his leg Christian Bale managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Geetsvondel²'s Henk Wouters fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Herald Wouqier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Di Kun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Di Kun in the 85th minute of play forced Geetsvondel²'s goalkeeper Herald Wouqier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Botev Plovdiv 1912 were awarded a corner. Billy Borre went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Billy Borre got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Herald Wouqier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 89 minutes into the game, Botev Plovdiv 1912's Di Kun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herald Wouqier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 96thth minute of the game Henk Wouters who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Botev Plovdiv 1912's Christian Bale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henk Wouters in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Bale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Botev Plovdiv 1912 were the better team. Botev Plovdiv 1912's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
