Matthew Frutig started the match with the kick off. Grayson Gruenigen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Van Den Wijngaert in the 3rd minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Fischverband Ostschweiz's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Van Den Wijngaert came free, but Grayson Gruenigen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Andre Giacomini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fischverband Ostschweiz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KV Schoonwater the free kick. Andre Giacomini hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Daniel Ingelbert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Giacomini, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Daniel Ingelbert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andre Giacomini in the 26th minute of play. Timofej Felder took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daniel Ingelbert. KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Fischverband Ostschweiz getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Theo Meyer hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Wiggers in the 38th minute of play forced Fischverband Ostschweiz's goalkeeper Grayson Gruenigen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes, KV Schoonwater's Refael De Boeck shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Grayson Gruenigen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KV Schoonwater reached it. In the 44th minute KV Schoonwater were awarded a corner. Joachim Wiggers went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Sven-Edvin Viklund almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fischverband Ostschweiz's Grayson Gruenigen did a great save. The Fischverband Ostschweiz players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KV Schoonwater were winning 0-1.

In the 56th minute, KV Schoonwater's Joachim Wiggers ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Grayson Gruenigen. Grayson Gruenigen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Grayson Gruenigen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Van Den Wijngaert in the 60th minute of play. Andre Giacomini kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Abel Van Den Wijngaerts short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Grayson Gruenigen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Grayson Gruenigen managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when KV Schoonwater's Abel Van Den Wijngaert fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Abel Van Den Wijngaerts short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Grayson Gruenigen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Daniel Ingelbert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rasmus Højlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Abel Van Den Wijngaert reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Grayson Gruenigen. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 79th minute Abel Van Den Wijngaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grayson Gruenigen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 minutes of play, KV Schoonwater's Abel Van Den Wijngaert made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Grayson Gruenigen was left in no man's land by his defense there! KV Schoonwater made a substitution. Hugo Gijselinx replaced Elias Geraerts. Sven-Edvin Viklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goal looked a bit too open when Rasmus Højlund came free, but Daniel Ingelbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fischverband Ostschweiz's Grayson Gruenigen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Fischverband Ostschweiz from getting a goal against them. Fischverband Ostschweiz's Grayson Gruenigen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Van Den Wijngaert in the 95th minute of play. The KV Schoonwater players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
