Urmas Känsäkangas came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by de belletrekkers's Rafal Rudnyak. But to his dismay, Rafal Rudnyak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, de belletrekkers's goalkeeper De-la-Cruz de Alcântara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hannes Jamieson. After a rather tough play, SK Gullegem's Cedrik Langendonckx got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Rafal Rudnyak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urmas Känsäkangas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tim Stevens fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored de belletrekkers's protests and gave Tim Stevens a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SK Gullegem booed when de belletrekkers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Stevens didn't get a good kick on the ball. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Jamieson in the 18th minute of play. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bram Jamieson in the 22nd minute. 22 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when SK Gullegem's Hannes Jamieson fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Rafal Rudnyak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Jamieson in the 34th minute of play. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hannes Jamieson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hannes Jamieson got free with De-la-Cruz de Alcântara in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute SK Gullegem were awarded a corner. Bruno Renan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Bruno Renan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but de belletrekkers's De-la-Cruz de Alcântara did a great save. In the 40th minute Paulus Van Hove shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urmas Känsäkangas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hannes Jamieson to make the kick off. Rafal Rudnyak was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. de belletrekkers's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to SK Gullegem getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Nico Jamieson hit a great ball. de belletrekkers's De-la-Cruz de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Jamieson in the 60th minute of play. Urmas Känsäkangas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulus Van Hove, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 79th minute, Bram Jamieson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Atarratze in the 80th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in de belletrekkers's zone, Hannes Jamieson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara came out of the goal and Hannes Jamieson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Gullegem's Benedicto Atarratze. But to his dismay, Benedicto Atarratze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The de belletrekkers players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
