Dimitar Vetzov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulus Van Hove, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Paulus Van Hove scored 0-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dimitar Vetzov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half de belletrekkers were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulus Van Hove to make the kick off. After 61 minutes of play, FC Bansko's Hristiyan Karaleev made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 80th minute, Paun Atkov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. FC Bansko made a substitution. Allan Magnusson replaced Paun Atkov. FC Bansko's Nedelcho Gutzov got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
