The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliézer Cavalcante got free with Loris Karius in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Loris Karius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliézer Cavalcante's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Eliézer Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Loris Karius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliézer Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliézer Cavalcante struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Loris Karius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Divina Comédia FC. Zhuang Shi Ting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Verhaghen, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliézer Cavalcante in the 26th minute of play forced RWD Molenbeek's goalkeeper Loris Karius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliézer Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. RWD Molenbeek were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Divina Comédia FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Inocencio Guipuzkoa took the corner. The corner ended in Inocencio Guipuzkoa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Divina Comédia FC's Zhuang Shi Ting did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet as Divina Comédia FC's Eliézer Cavalcante slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Loris Karius. That made the score 2-0 after 34 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Resul Erdemalp in the 36th minute of play forced Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Zhuang Shi Ting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Eliézer Cavalcante reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Loris Karius. The goal made the score 3-0. Zhuang Shi Ting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Arce to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Eliézer Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loris Karius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliézer Cavalcante took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loris Karius. After some careless play in the RWD Molenbeek defense, Eliézer Cavalcante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loris Karius. The RWD Molenbeek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loris Karius should have stopped the shot. Loris Karius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliézer Cavalcante in the 64th minute of play. Loris Karius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer Cavalcante in the 66th minute of the match. RWD Molenbeek's Loris Karius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer Cavalcante in the 68th minute of play.
