In the 13th minute, Válbson Capixaba sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho didn't even have to move. Gonçalo Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of VIAMÃO F.C.. booed when S.E. Cachoeirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ulaş Baliç threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rafinha Gonçalves, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ismael de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luukas Bollaert in the 35th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Vinhas. 40 minutes into the match, Qiu Wei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael de Carvalho. S.E. Cachoeirinha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Qiu Wei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The audience was convinced that Luukas Bollaert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael de Carvalho was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Rafinha Gonçalves took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulaş Baliç. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luukas Bollaert received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ismael de Carvalho came out and tried to block the shot, but Luukas Bollaert slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 64th minute. 80 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Ismael de Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Qiu Wei. In the 88th minute, Giuseppe Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Qiu Wei got free with Ismael de Carvalho in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over VIAMÃO F.C.. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than S.E. Cachoeirinha throughout the match.
