The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquin Xacintu got free with Romeu Netto in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquin Xacintu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Romeu Netto made a huge save. Falcão Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yakup Kadri Akbatur in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Metolokos MZ Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheus Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Fabiano Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Romeu Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Simão in the 26th minute of play. Romeu Netto made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Gualter Sampaio sent off a good shot on target. Grentino FC's Amadeu de Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romeu Netto was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Joaquin Xacintu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joaquin Xacintu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0.

Metolokos MZ Clube's Raimundo Mesquita was substituted for Alex Peres. The wind increased when Erasmo Simão made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Joaquin Xacintu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grentino FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquin Xacintu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romeu Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Sampaio in the 54th minute of play. Falcão Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yakup Kadri Akbatur, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Falcão Sampaio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 57 minutes into the match, Erasmo Simão notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Metolokos MZ Clube's Romeu Netto. Romeu Netto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Catarinense in the 62nd minute of play forced Grentino FC's goalkeeper Falcão Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabiano Jacinto's late challenge caught a Grentino FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 83 played minutes Metolokos MZ Clube got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Jacinto. 87 minutes into the match, Gualter Sampaio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romeu Netto. Metolokos MZ Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gualter Sampaio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Romeu Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Xacintu in the 93rd minute of play. Romeu Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Xacintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Metolokos MZ Clube's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
