Eulalio Peio might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Durval Araújo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eulalio Peio ran back to his position shaking his head. Durval Araújo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lukáš Modrić went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 9th minute Lukáš Modrić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joélson Saldanha hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. PATO BRANCO FC's Lukáš Modrić was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 13th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 16th minute of the match, Faustão Alagoano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Durval Araújo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 19 minutes into the match, Lukáš Modrić dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Durval Araújo, 4-0. In the 24th minute Eulalio Peio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Lukáš Modrić fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Durval Araújo, passed just outside the right post. F.C Fribourg's Durval Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Peio in the 29th minute of play. Lukáš Modrić took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Durval Araújo. Durval Araújo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. PATO BRANCO FC's Eulalio Peio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 34th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Wágner de Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Durval Araújo. F.C Fribourg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wágner de Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Durval Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukáš Modrić in the 40th minute of the match. Durval Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustão Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Durval Araújo made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Faustão Alagoano sent off a good shot on target. Durval Araújo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eulalio Peio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 8-0 in the 48 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joélson Saldanha made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Lukáš Modrić put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Durval Araújo. 57 minutes into the match, Lukáš Modrić had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Durval Araújo. F.C Fribourg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lukáš Modrić was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Durval Araújo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Konstantinos Svolos's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Lukáš Modrić might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Durval Araújo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lukáš Modrić ran back to his position shaking his head. Durval Araújo came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by PATO BRANCO FC's Lukáš Modrić. But to his dismay, Lukáš Modrić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. After 69 minutes of play, PATO BRANCO FC's Wágner de Lara made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Durval Araújo was left in no man's land by his defense there! PATO BRANCO FC's Mariano Admon was substituted for Oséas Recife. PATO BRANCO FC's Eulalio Peio got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the game, Lukáš Modrić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. Durval Araújo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eulalio Peio scored 15-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Durval Araújo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eulalio Peio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durval Araújo having to interfere. Durval Araújo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when PATO BRANCO FC's Lukáš Modrić shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 16-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After some careless play in the F.C Fribourg defense, Faustão Alagoano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Durval Araújo. The F.C Fribourg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Durval Araújo should have stopped the shot. Lukáš Modrić took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Durval Araújo. Durval Araújo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 18-0. In the 98th minute Arsenio Loramendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PATO BRANCO FC had played much better football throughout.
