But to his dismay, Patryk Gecionis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 33 minutes into the game, Júnior de Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Duarte de Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júnior de Moraes in the 38th minute of play forced PATO BRANCO FC's goalkeeper Duarte de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Lundgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustão Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Faustão Alagoano had several of the B-S-L's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-3 score and a disappointed Peter Lundgren as he didn't even see the shot coming. Peter Lundgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lukáš Modrić in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lukáš Modrić was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, PATO BRANCO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adilson Matorin came free, but Duarte de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustão Alagoano scored 4-4 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Lundgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. B-S-L made a substitution. Sebastião Baiano replaced Júnior de Moraes. 83 minutes into the match, B-S-L's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Admon came free, but Peter Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute PATO BRANCO FC were awarded a corner. Lukáš Modrić went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Lukáš Modrić got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Peter Lundgren quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 86thth minute of the game Sebastião Baiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PATO BRANCO FC's Duarte de Barros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Adilson Matorin came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the B-S-L fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adilson Matorin couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Faustão Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duarte de Barros was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adilson Matorin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-5 in the 96 minute of play.
